Laurie Goren’s early training in classical violin technique gave her the foundation from which to explore a wide variety of styles and genres.

She performed in San Francisco for a number of years with the Rudy Cipolla Ensemble, playing turn-of-the-century European and Argentinean music. She is also a veteran of northern California’s original folk music trio Pangea and of New Age ensemble Electric Shakti.

Now, in Trilogy, Laurie returns to the music of her Gaelic ancestry, bringing a sensitivity and warmth to her strong and playful fiddle style.
